Amplifying Our Commitment to Women Engineers

At pSemi, we believe that a more diverse company leads to a more innovative company. Based on that belief, we are committed to encouraging and supporting women engineers through a variety of initiatives.[/vc_column_text][tm-portfoliobox h2=”Women in Engineering Internship Program” h4=”Inaugural pSemi Program a Success” txt_align=”left” reverse_heading=”true”][/tm-portfoliobox][vc_column_text]The inaugural launch of our Women in Engineering Internship Program, which took place over 10 weeks this summer, was a resounding success! During this program, five students gained real-world experience both in the lab and through planned networking activities. Our interns learned about RFIC design and development, automation, characterization, Wi-Fi, artificial intelligence and machine learning.

Throughout the program, the women were mentored by pSemi managers and participated in other professional development activities such as public speaking and presentation workshops. Interns also enjoyed several social and networking events including a San Diego Padres baseball game, a pizza-making party, a hike at beautiful Torrey Pines, an escape room activity, and a final farewell picnic with fellow interns, managers and teammates.

pSemi looks forward to hosting and expanding our Women in Engineering Internship Program in future years.[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text][vc_row][vc_column][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][tm-portfoliobox h2=”pSemi FEM Program” h4=”Female Engineers and Managers (FEM)” txt_align=”left” reverse_heading=”true”][/tm-portfoliobox][/vc_column][/vc_row]Another pSemi inclusion-focused initiative is our Female Engineers and Managers (FEM) program. Designed to advance the careers of women who excel in STEM and management, the FEM program sharpens skills in the areas of negotiation, business acumen, public speaking and executive presence. The upcoming fall series includes presentations by pSemi women leaders about how they carved their paths to management in the semiconductor industry.
